We dive right into a tell-all about Harvest Host.

Is it actually Free? Well no, not exactly. You purchase a membership for a one-time fee of around $100, and then you can boondock at any participating Winery, Distillery, Brewery, museum, Farm, or golf course. BUT you also have to support the business you camp at in some way (buy something) So it is definitely NOT free!

BUT, we LOVE Harvest Host!

The location in Spotsylvania, Virginia is rich with history as well. We visit the gravesite of “Stonewall” Jackson’s Amputated Arm and learn all about what happened here at Wilderness Run during the Civil War.
