Full Time RV Travel Family hits Washington DC

Hey friends!

Have you ever dreamed of full-time travel with your family?

Come on over and see how we have made it happen. We share weekly blogs to inspire and help to plan trips or starting RV-ing the right way! Feel free to contact us with any questions!

In today’s episode, we take our Class A Diesel Pusher to Washington DC.

We have a great time visiting with family in Maryland!

Maryland is known for steamed Blue Crab coated in Old Bay seasoning. It also happens to be one of Travis’ favorite things to eat.

My sister put together an amazing Crab Feast. She had a friend come over and teach us all how to open them up and pick the meat out. It’s a fine art!

Travis and I are both big fans. It’s even fun to pick. I only walked away with a small flesh wound.

Rylie and Tripp gave the picking a try but weren’t big fans of the meat. I don’t think they are fans of their food looking back at them 😂

We also spend a day in Washington DC!

Yes, many things in DC are still closed or you need to secure timed tickets way in advance.

This didn’t stop us from having a fun and educational day here!

We decided to rent scooters and visit all the best outdoor sites. We squeezed a ton into one day and had so much fun doing it.

Our day included stops at-

The Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial Wall, World War 2 Memorial,

Ford’s Theater, Capital building, the White House, Jefferson Memorial, and a food truck for a hot dog.

Have you ever used a scooter to explore a new town? If not, we highly recommend it!
